Default Emergency Contact System Question

I run a cellular paging service for businesses and I would like to branch out and develop a similar service for schools. The service would allow schools to contact parents and/or students by sending them text messages to their cell phones and PDA devices. These messages would be sent to inform the recipients of critical or emergency situations such as school closed due to heavy snow/weather, etc.

I'm trying to find a school to help me develop and refine our service to meet school needs. While my business is up and running for corporations, I'm sure schools have slightly different needs and therefore I would be doing some software modifications to meet those needs. Our service runs from our website.

I would like to hear from any teachers who think their school might be interested in helping me to pilot a system at their school. There would be no cost to the school during the pilot program. I would allow them to use our services for free in exchange for their feedback and comments.

Thanks...

I nominate Chocolate_New_Orleans. By far the wisest teacher I have come across on this website. Why?

1. He's old school
2. No happy go lucky BS theories
3. Doesnt pretend children are innocent angels that need 24/7 catering
4. Crushes newer teachers hopes and fantasies or recreating 'Dangerous Minds'
5. Will most likely be a 35 year veteran, outlasting 90% of the hippie teachers on this site.

Screw it, I'd nominate him Time's Man of the Year.
